Obituary

DECATUR - Richard K. "Rich" Rau, 53, of Washington died 8:42 a.m. Sunday (Dec. 12, 2004) in his home. Services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday in Washington Christian Church. Visitation will be 4 p.m. until services in the church. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Glendale Cemetery, Washington. Mason-White Funeral Home, Washington, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials: Rau Children's Education Fund, in care of Washington State Bank. Mr. Rau was born July 25, 1951, in Decatur, the son of Wilbur and Helen Simen Rau. He married Laurie Ruedi on Oct. 21, 1978, in Milwaukee, Wis. Surviving are his wife; mother, formerly of rural Kenney; daughters, Amy Rau of Normal; Jenni Rau of Washington; son, Brian Rau of Washington.
